About

Dogzilla is a four, sometimes five-piece, cover band from Metro Detroit that plays rock the way it should be—loud, tight, and built entirely on real instruments and sound. Since 2023, they’ve been building a 50+ song setlist spanning alternative, progressive, and heavy rock.

Tony (vocals/guitar), Justin (vocals/guitar), and Jimmy (drums) have been playing together since they were kids. Their first band, Duck Tape, started in second grade. In college, they launched an original project called Prajna, recording a six-song EP titled It’d Be Cool If The Moon Came With Music—which you can still find on streaming platforms today.

After some time off and a few years in the real world, they got back to what they’ve always loved. That’s when they met Jay (vocals/bass)—a rock-solid bassist with a sharp ear, a laid-back vibe, and a shared passion for live music. He fit right in, and together they formed the supergroup known as Dogzilla.

Casey (vocals/hype man) joins for select shows—hyping the crowd, lending vocals, and occasionally dropping poetry between sets.

Dogzilla isn’t chasing trends. They’re just longtime friends doing what they do best: playing great rock music and making sure the crowd has a great time.
